How the service works

  • Spots are purchased on a term basis. There are no refunds for missed weeks. This ensures the sustainability of the service, and allows a “set and forget” mindset for parents - no worrying about dates and cancellation windows.

  • Occasionally we offer “half term” spots - where two families share a single spot by attending on alternating weekends.

This can work well for families seeking to stretch out their NDIS budget, or those with lots of competing weekend activities.

If this would work well for you, please reach out.

  • Item description
  • This ensures you can go away without paying for sessions you don’t use.

  • This is to minimise admin for families.

If you’d prefer a different frequency we can usually accommodate it, so please just reach out.

The exception to this is medicare funded 1:1 sessions, which we invoice weekly (unless a family requests otherwise).

  • Fees for group services cover 4 adult facilitators per group (psychologist, speech pathologist, teacher, peer worker) + all materials + individualised preparation + clinical documentation + individualised reports.

Fees for 1:1 sessions are set according to NDIS price decisions.

NDIS progress reports are invoiced separately.

All fees are subject to change.

  • In additional to group services, we provide:

    • 1:1 psychology services, delivered at home, school, or on Saturdays at Kew.

    • 1:1 speech pathology allied health assistant sessions, delivered on Saturdays at Kew

    • 1:1 social work therapy, delivered at home, school, or on Saturdays at Kew.

Our focus remains group programs - our 1:1 services are reserved for group members, and are provided within the aegis of supporting social development.

Before your first time

  • Make sure you enter the street address above.

If you enter Kew Primary School”, Google maps will take you to a locked gate at the opposite corner of the school!

  • This gives us a relaxed hello. But no drama if you’re running late. We’ll ensure it’s a smooth entry for your child.

  • Some parents stay close, others go for coffee.

Some families hang out in the school grounds with siblings while the group is running.

  • This is a surprisingly tricky interval to mentally calculate (sorry)!

You can check your reminder message if unsure.

  • Come on in when time is up. The children will often be finishing something they’ll want to show you.

Depending on the level of chaos at that moment, we might have time for a quick chat. Usually though, we’ll catch you during the week.

  • On Sunday morning you’ll receive a brief summary of the session, including observations of your child.

  • Once you and your child have had a chance to absorb the experience, we’ll call to see how it all landed.

If your child is keen to enrol, we send you all the paperwork.

If you know enough to make a decision after receiving the notes - assuming you have no other questions - you can skip the call by emailing us and we’ll get you all set up.

  • Unless a family requests otherwise, we invoice twice per term.

Depending on when your trial session falls, it might be some time before you receive an invoice.

  • If you decide to enrol, there are two forms to complete:

    • An Intake Form - which gathers all the info we need about your child.

    • A Service Agreement - which formalises the care arrangement.

We promise we have made these as streamlined as possible. Very few mandatory fields, so you whizz through them in a few minutes if you need to.

Alternatively, if you’ve got the time, you can provide us a very rich picture.
