Face-to-face groups

Junior Saturday Club

Ages 5-6

(60 mins)

Gently paced groups for early primary aged children.

Junior Saturday Club groups are kept small, with a maximum of 3-4 children. They have one or two facilitators, depending on group size.

Activities are low demand and creativity focused. Parent reports are provided twice a term.

Saturday Club

Ages 7-12 (streamed)

(75 mins)

Our main program. Saturday Club has two streams, catering for middle and upper primary ages respectively. Groups are capped at 8 children and have four facilitators.

Sessions start with a game and a mood check in, followed by learning material. After a movement break, we practice a new skill via craft, games, lego or any number of other activities.

Parent reports are provided weekly.

Teen groups

Ages 13-18 (streamed)

(90-120 mins)

Our teen groups operate differently to our other programs. We spend more time on matching personalities, given the greater emphasis on individual identity and preferences in this age group.

Groups typically contain 3-5 teens and have one facilitator. They run at different locations across Melbourne’s inner north.

A relaxed format, with a greater emphasis on discussion and long-form games - very relationally focused. Parent reports provided twice a term.

Our teen groups operate under a separate, more adolescent-friendly brand.

Online programs

Secret Agent Society (SAS)

Ages 8-12

An evidence-based, spy-themed program covering emotion recognition, managing anxiety and anger, and everyday social problem-solving. It runs over nine weeks, with refresher sessions available.

SAS is a well-regarded program with an international profile.

Navigators

Ages 8-13 (age matched)

Our own online program, led by Dr Nina Parrella. Over eight sessions, it helps children understand language, friendship and their own emotions, so they can engage socially with more confidence.

Navigators is tailored to neurodivergent children and their families in contemporary Victoria.

One-on-one support

1:1 support

While our service is focused on social development, we offer 1:1 therapy support to group members. This includes psychology, speech pathology and social work. It can also include strategy sessions with parents.
Therapy can be delivered alongside your child's group on Saturdays, or at home, school, or online.
To ensure everyone’s comfort, 1:1 therapy is generally delivered by someone other than your child’s group facilitator. With your consent, therapists and facilitators can share information so both services can be tailored to your child’s needs.

Assessments

We offer a range of standardised assessment services, including:
  • assessments of social functioning, such as the Social Responsiveness Scale (SRS-2)
  • cognitive and educational assessments, such as the WISC-V and WIAT-IV.
  • language assessments (CELF-5)
  • functional assessments incorporating the Vineland-3.
  • assessments of mood related issues such as anxiety and depression.
